An American Airlines employee was murdered in Arima on Tuesday night.
The deceased has been identified as
'Shakir Wells' 22-year-old, he was a Flight Attendant and the son of a police officer.
TSR Understands around 11:30Pm Wells who is the son of a police officer had returned from the airport and went to drop of something for a friend at Antigua Road, Wallerfield.
Whilst there two gunmen opened fire on him and his friend Marvin Stewart. The gunmen took Wells vehicle a silver Hyundai Elantra registration PDN 3608 and escaped.
Police officers who responded took Wells and Stewart sto the Arima District Hospital for medical treatment where Wells succumbed to his injuries and Stewart is listed in stable condition.
