27-year-old Akiel Collins Johnson of Cassia Street Morvant and La Canoa Road in Santa Cruz.
One week ago he stole a gun from a gang member in Santa Cruz, then he was gunned down in Morvant last night.
Akiel Collins Johnson was accused of stealing a revolver from a member of the Gorilla Strike Force (GSF) gang at LA Canoa Road in Santa Cruz, where he also lives.
The incident happened approximately one week ago and Johnson was told to return the gun or he'd be killed, TSR was reliably informed.
Instead, Johnson left Santa Cruz and went to stay with another relative at Cassia Street in Morvant and it is believed his killing is linked to the stolen revolver.

Around 7:10 pm, Johnson was walking along Marigold Crescent at Coconut Drive in Morvant when upon reaching the corner of Chrysanthemum Drive, he was shot at by several men.
Johnson, who lives with his grandmother at Cassia Stree Morvant, was taken to the hospital where he was declared dead.
Investigations are continuing into the incident.
